Principles Before Personalities by Jaxn

Jaxn began his Hip Hop career back in 1995 as a co-founder of the underground Hip Hop group Havok House. They were one of the first groups to come out of Framingham, MA during the ’90s era and dropped two official studio albums titled “Legacy Beginz” and “Declaration of Independence.” When it came to hustling CDs out of the trunk of a car, Jaxn and his crew were way ahead of their time. Years before 50 Cent took the mixtape game to another level, Jaxn and Havok House were heavily distributing their tapes, CDs, t-shirts, flyers, and stickers all over Bean Town making a name for themselves in Boston’s newly emerging and expanding Hip Hop scene.

After dropping their sophomore album at the beginning of last decade, Havok House took a hiatus as a group in order for each member to pursue solo careers. During the last decade, Jaxn went on to drop four mixtapes as well as two official solo LPs titled “A Havok House Home Coming” and “Seal of Approval.” with his DJ/Producer partner Matteo Getz (of Getz Productions). After hitting the concert circuit in Boston performing at various clubs in the city, Jaxn is now back with his third solo LP titled “Principles Before Personalities.” The album features guest appearances by E The Real, Slink Supreme, and J.D.O. along with production from Matteo Getz, Golden Child, Q-Logic, Pauly Fingaz, S-Grace, Adveket, and Exquisite. Jaxn describes the album as Hip Hop with a ’93 to ’95 feel that compromises nothing.
